Cookie Policy

Last updated: 20 March 2026

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners about how users interact with their content.

Do we use cookies?

Short answer: not currently.

VerifAI does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking tools.

Strictly necessary functionality

Some minimal browser storage may be used for strictly necessary operational purposes, such as remembering your session state within a single visit. This type of storage is essential for the Service to function and does not track you across websites or sessions.

Under UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), strictly necessary cookies and storage do not require your consent.

Third-party services

The VerifAI web application is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may set strictly necessary cookies as part of its infrastructure. You can review Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Future changes

We may introduce analytics tools in the future to help us understand how people use the Service. If we do, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device. We will add a cookie consent banner at that point.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. All major browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing ones. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some websites.
